The below charts are the daily charts of the Nasdaq representing the QQQ ETF.
Chart # 1 shows a February 1st 2026 in- and out-of-sample look at two key components traders and investors should be mindful of.
In-sample data means data that was known at the time of the forecast. Out-of-sample data is unknown at the time of the forecast.
The first element shown on Chart 1 is a historical ‘bias pattern’ found in the Nasdaq (red line, in this case). The second element is our Economic Predictable Zone (EPZ) model showing the probabilities attached to price action over given time-frames. Some zones are brief (the first one shown), and others are extended in length (the second one shown).
Chart # 2 is the current short-term QQQ forecast into late August with historical bias and EPZ zones shown.
This data can help with making adjustments to risk management measures month over month, or quarter over quarter.
